Des Plaines Historic Sites Trolley Tours

Join the Des Plaines Historical Society for a Historic Sites Trolley Tour of unique and historic buildings and locations in the City of Des Plaines on Sunday, May 21, 2006, from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Highlights of the tour include the first McDonald’s, Graceland Avenue’s “Silk Stockings” area, historic Thacker Street, and the Methodist Campground. Two tour times are available to choose from and advance reservations are required. Call the History Center at 847-391-5399 or stop by the Visitor Center at 781 Pearson Street to take advantage of the pre-tour admission of just $12 for Historical Society members who purchase tickets on or before Friday, May 5, 2006. Tickets are $15 for non-members and for members who purchase after May 5. Tour times will be assigned on a first come, first-served basis. A limited number of tickets will be available the day of the tour.
